Danvers Creative is run by Mikaela Danvers, a fully qualified (B. Des.) freelance graphic and web designer and photographer based in Canberra, Australia.
I am passionate about branding and web design, especially for small business owners who may just be starting out - or may have been in business for a few years already but have not had any branding done - and want their products or services to look professional.
Design
The services I offer range from very affordable web design packages for those in need of simple and straight forward websites to promote themselves or their business, to very in depth and complex custom web design for small to large business owners. I work for local, national and international clients, as distance is no barrier when working on the internet.
I am also available to design identities for small business', including logo design, business cards, matching stationery and promotional items. Flyers, brochures, calendars, uniforms and postcards are all possible, please contact me for an obligation-free quote.

I have had vast experience developing photographic portfolios for models, makeup artists and fashion designers, along with shooting numerous portrait sessions for families and business people. My experience in these areas lends perfectly to producing a professional Business Profile Photo of you - taking into consideration your individual style and ensuring this comes across in your photo - which can then be used on your website or other promotional materials.

Getting Your Business Online - Workshops and Seminars
In 2011 I will be offering group seminars and one-on-one workshops in a series called "Getting Your Business Online". The series will cover the basics of Online Social Networking (facebook, twitter), extending your online presence through websites such as flickr and YouTube, selling your products online through your own website or online marketplaces such as Etsy and MadeIt, and growing your online following and customer base with a mailing list.
Each 90 minute workshop or seminar will cover one specific subject, and will start from the ground up - fantastic for absolute beginners but also great for those who might be getting a bit stuck with some areas - first with an introduction to each website (what they are and how they are used to grow your business), followed by registering an account, creating a business profile and going through each step of promoting / connecting / listing products / posting videos / posting photos / linking / sending newsletters and more.
